Wednesday December 4, 10:00AM-1:30PM
Meeker Slough is a wetland area in Richmond, on the coast of San Francisco Bay. We’ll look for shorebirds, ducks, herons, and coastal paserines during the incoming tide. The walk is mostly on a paved and level trail. If time permits, we will also drive a few miles to check out Vincent Park and the Richmond Marina (Inner Harbor Basin). Please bring a spotting scope if you own one, I will bring two scopes if someone can carry one of them. I have a few loaner binoculars I can bring—if contacted ahead of time.
Dress in layers. Bring water, snacks and lunch if so choose.
