Brickyard Cove

About Brickyard Cove Real Estate

Named for the protected cove that once housed a working brickyard, today Brickyard Cove is a quaint waterfront community consisting of single-family houses, condos and townhouses.

Although it’s close to major transportation arteries heading to Marin or San Francisco, it has an off-the-beaten-track almost rural feel since it’s separated from Point Richmond by a short tunnel and boxed in by mountains. The community backs into Nichol Knob mountain on one side and by the San Francisco Bay on the other.

Brickyard Cove boasts its own beach, Keller Beach, which is one of the few East Bay beaches used by open water swimmers on a regular basis.  It is also home to the Richmond Yacht Club which is known for its top notch youth sailing programs. Recently the well regarded R&B Cellars moved nearby and its waterfront tasting room is a short walk away by the bay trail.

Almost all of the homes have spectacular views of the San Francisco Bay.  Many of the single family homes on “the spit” also have their own boat docks.
