Discover the Brickyard Cove Lifestyle
Named for the protected cove that once housed a working brickyard, today Brickyard Cove is a quaint waterfront community consisting of single-family houses, condos and townhouses.
Although it’s close to major transportation arteries and offers an easy 35 minute ferry commute to San Francisco, it has an off-the-beaten-track almost rural feel since it’s separated from Point Richmond by a short tunnel and boxed in by mountains. The community backs into hiking trails at Nichol Knob mountain on one side and by the San Francisco Bay on the other.
Brickyard Cove boasts its own quite beach, Keller Beach, which is one of the few East Bay beaches used by open water swimmers on a regular basis. It is also home to the Richmond Yacht Club which is known for its top notch yacht racing and youth sailing programs. Brickyard Cove is also home to it’s own waterfront winery called Riggers Loft which features waterfront wine tasting room and regular music events.
Almost all of the homes have spectacular views of the San Francisco Bay. Many of the single family homes on “the spit” also have their own boat docks.
